Las Lomas del Albujon celebrates its patron saint festivities in honor of the Ascension of the Lord (08/05/2018)

Las Lomas del Albujón celebrates its patron saint festivities, those of the Ascension of the Lord, from May 11 to 20, with numerous activities for all audiences.

Everything is ready to start the festivities of Las Lomas del Albujón.

It will be this Friday May 11 when the festivities are inaugurated with the lighting of lights and the opening of the enclosure and the tent of the Fiestas.

Then, at 10:30 p.m., you can hear the proclamation that this year is the responsibility of the parish priest, Juan Carlos Ponce Simón, after which the 2018 festivities will be officially inaugurated. The night will continue with a great dance during which the coronation and imposition of bands will be made to the Mises.

On Saturday, May 12, activities will continue from early in the morning with the "Children's Day" at the children's fair.

During the whole day the attractions will be totally free for all participants.

At 8:00 p.m. there will be a floral offering, which this year, as a novelty, will be done through the different streets of the town to pick up the flowers until the tour ends at the church.

The big day of the festivities will be Sunday, May 13, Ascension Day.

At 8:00 a large flowery Diana will be developed that will run through the different streets of the town with a large band of drums and kites to wake up all the neighbors and join the celebrations for this great day.

The activities will continue on Thursday, May 17 with the Encuentro de Bolillo and will happen throughout the weekend to end on Sunday, May 20, with Fireworks Castle.
