Tomas Mendoza's own language is shown in the Town Hall (04/05/2018)

Under the title 'When the tunnel is at its darkest is when you can see the light again', the artist from Cartagena, Tomás Mendoza Arraco, shows his works in the Tomás Rico and Víctor Beltrí rooms of the Consistorial Palace, until July 1.

The Councilor for Culture, David Martinez, opened the exhibition on Tuesday, May 3.

The painter and draftsman from Cartagena has built a solid trajectory, with an evolution supported by successful exhibitions, both individual and collective.

The paintings represent his thoughts and show the essence of his being, since he uses his art as his own language to share the world he creates and expresses with an intense coloring.

His compositions are dense and with diverse references and connotations, so they have multiple interpretations.

In addition, in his works there are elements that appeal to the subconscious, with a marked symbolic character.

The sample can be visited from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 1:30 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm;

Saturdays from 10 am to 1:30 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm and Sundays and holidays from 10 am to 1:30 pm
