Practice for students in courses Celador ADLE Health and Elderly Care (01/06/2010)

The students courses Celador Health and geriatric care for elderly dependents, both organized by the Agency of Local Development and Employment, will conduct the training period in the workplace, a total of 80 hours per course, from 7 June until 5 July.

In regard to the course of Celador Health, is aimed at unemployed people, theoretical training has been 100 hours and has recognized the health interest by the Directorate General of Planning, Health and Pharmaceutical Management and Research Ministry of Health.

The 10 students selected from almost 300 applications have received a specific theoretical training in the area of care and patient transfer, and to mobilize and assist the nursing staff.

Now the practices conducted at the University Hospital Santa María del Rosell and Perpetual Help.

As for the course in the care of dependent elderly, the 10 students, selected from more than 100 applications, received 150 hours of theoretical training and now put into practice the knowledge acquired his job in nursing Virgen del Mar, Los Almendros , Residential House, Carmen Zamora Foundation and Charity Hospital.

During the period of employment practices in the workplace, students in these courses will receive a grant of 10 euros per day of attendance.

With this training activity, the Agency of Local Development and Employment aims to improve the chances of employability of unemployed people in Cartagena.
