The institutes of El Bohio and Isaac Peral Win Contest What do you know Europe? (20/05/2010)

The jury of the III Contest What do you know Europe?, Organized by the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, gave Wednesday to announce its decision in which were included as winners at 1 º A IES El Bohio, in the First Cycle, and IES Isaac Peral, second cycle.

To win the top prize, the winning class of the institute The Hut introduced a set of Butterfly Effect, a ludo Europe, European Power game, shuffle European model of Volcano Eruption, Crossword, Journal and Calendar of Europe game Electronic Europe, several murals, maps and two Power Point on the cuisine in France and Lithuania.

For its part, the winner of the Isaac Peral class presented a Power Point on Tourism in all EU countries.

The awards ceremony will take place participants elmartes May 25, at 12.00 pm in the Multipurpose Room of the Youth Resource Centre.

The winners get a trip to Valencia to visit the Oceanographic Museum of Science and the Hemisphere, Europe documentation centers and shirts for all participants.

The jury, chaired by the Councillor for Youth, Ruth Collins, was composed by Mark Daniel, Director of Language and Communication Center of Cartagena-La Union, Emilio Bernal, President of the Federation of Associations of Parents of Students FAPA Cartagena Maria Almudena Fernandez, Technical Information Center European Region of Murcia, Europe Direct and Maria del Rosario Muñoz, Coordinator of Secondary Education of the Department of Youth.
